to be comfortable following commands amid distractions, other dogs and people. Whether it be Obedience, Off Leash, Agility or AKC Canine Good Citizen- we partner with you in preparing 
your pup for a lifetime of adventure!

Our History and Mission:
Scot Rucker II has been a hard working resident of North Georgia for well over twelve years. Born and raised in the area he has made a name for himself as a dedicated and passionate Dog Trainer and Entrepreneur. He joined his family in opening the first Rucker Pet Location in Cumming, Georgia in July of 2010. Through the expansion of two additional locations, Scot forged many wonderful relationships with customers and business owners with whom he built a strong rapport and trust. His passion for training and educating led him to a distinguished reputation in the pet community. This passion blossomed further when he saw such a positive impact with helping owners train and care for their pets. 

In 2014, Scot led his first series of obedience classes at Happy Dogs Play & Stay in Cumming, Ga. And in the summer of 2017, Scot achieved his goal of opening his own facility that not only offered a spacious indoor training room but also retail, grooming, boarding, day camp, pet supplies and outdoor dog park. Located in Gainesville, Ga Fido’s World has raised the bar in customer service, beauty and design- and top’s it all off with a pup-friendly coffee and organic smoothie bar! 

The new space has allowed Scot the opportunity to expand his Board & Train program and also create a special scholarship program, Friends of Nina that partners with the Humane Society of Forsyth Co. to train at risk dogs. Since it’s creation the program has successfully trained and placed over a dozen dogs with their forever families. The demand for his training has continued to grow and now RDT leads multiple weekday and weekend classes in Beginner Obedience, Advanced Off Leash, Agility, AKC Canine Good Citizen and has one of the leading Board & Train programs in North Georgia and surrounding areas.
